We plan it, prove it, and deliver it.

Programme delivery and forensic planning for rail, water and civils — backed by in-house data, analytics and AI.Experience the Difference

Twenty years on UK infrastructure, from HS2 and Network Rail to water-utility bridge programmes. We plan the work, find out what the data and models are really saying, and stay on site until it's built.

Services

Three service lines. One team.

01 / Project Delivery

Project Delivery

From optioneering to the last possession.

  • Project planning — P6, MSP and Asta; QSRA and QCRA; programme control from GRIP 3 to handover.
  • Forensic planning — delay analysis, claims assessment and dispute support. Led forensic planning on HS2 (2022–25), running two teams of six to clear the claims backlog and cut future exposure.
  • Cost development — cost-benefit analysis, optioneering reports and regulator submissions.
  • Delivery and on-site supervision — Site Person in Charge on live-railway possessions, not just the author of the programme.

Lead planner on the £1.4bn HS2 Old Oak Common station; represented HS2 at the Technology and Construction Court in a procurement challenge, successfully defended. Lead planner on Network Rail’s Ipswich Chord, Project of the Year 2013:

“Judges were particularly impressed by the impeccable planning of this project from start to finish.”

02 / Process

Process

Simplify the complex. Automate the rest.

  • Process mapping and control — regain a programme that has slipped, and put the controls in place so it stays regained.
  • Automation — High Speed 1’s possession-planning process automated end to end, from inception to testing.
  • Digital replacements for paper — site data capture, document and certificate tracking, paperwork chains built around your templates, not a product you bend to fit.

Brought in as the troubleshooting team on the Midland Metro Alliance (over £1bn): regained control of the programme and supported cost control across four extension schemes.

03 / Advanced Analytics & AI

Advanced Analytics & AI

Data you can act on. AI you can audit.

  • Mobile-network and GPS analytics — six years with Telefónica O2 building insight products on mobile data (8bn rows a day, a team grown from 3 to 20+); Highways England’s national trip database; TfL mobility studies.
  • Decision analytics — real-time analysis for people who have to decide now, from programme performance MI to Games-time operations.
  • Procurement and bid analytics — programme and cost analysis through procurement, bids and tender challenge.
  • Bespoke AI on your data — Network Rail’s Intelligent Infrastructure programme turned train measurements taken every 200 mm into actionable insight. The AI we build is engineered in-house and runs on your domain.

Stood up London 2012’s 24/7 Transport Analytics function from zero to fifty people in twelve months, advising the Mayor, TfL and the train operators in real time through the Games.

How we show our work

Problem → what the model showed → the decision it changed.

When a programme is hard to explain, we build a scroll-driven visual story of it: each engineering problem, what the data and the 3D model revealed, and the decision that followed — so a board can follow it in ten minutes. Below is the shape of one chapter, on an invented example; real programmes are shown privately, with their owners’ permission.

Record drawing Survey model

Invented example; every dimension made up. Drag to compare.

  1. 01

    The problem

New abutment piles for a deck replacement sit close to a services duct the record drawings place only “approximately”, with no depth. The design works on paper; nobody can say whether it works in the ground.

  2. 02

    What the model showed

A survey-based model put the duct 300 mm from the pile line and 1.4 m shallower than recorded — a plain clash, visible to the whole team months before site, without a trial hole.

  3. 03

    The decision it changed

Pile line moved 600 mm, the diversion came out of the programme, and the closure plan was rewritten — before anything was ordered.

Why us

Five reasons clients stay.

Built by operators

Twenty years delivering infrastructure programmes, not just slide decks.

Senior on every project

A senior partner on every call, not a graduate consultant.

Forensic by instinct

We read programmes the way a claims team will — so the problems get found before the dispute does.

Domain depth

Rail, water, civils — we know the regulators, the frameworks, the gotchas.

Data & AI engineering in-house

We build the AI ourselves; we don't sub it out to a third party.

Tools we’ve built

Four shipped, two in build.

What is really driving it: the critical path, the cost, the process that is leaking time.

03 / Deliver

Deliver

The plan, the analysis, or the tool — built around your templates and your rules, on your domain.

04 / Stay
